Putting Things in Perspective

"I had never taken a yoga class in my life before [Yoga Rogers Park/Yoga Now], I can genuinely say I was impressed with the classes I have taken so far. Not only were they INCREDIBLE workouts, but they actually helped me to relax. I went to class one Thursday night in a Terrible mood, my whole day had been a whirlwind of problems and emotions, and after I took Julia Rae's wonderful class everything seemed to be put into perspective. I personally feel that if you have never taken a yoga class this is the studio for you. The prices are affordable and the teachers and other class go-ers have been nothing but friendly and helpful. I'm not the MOST flexible person there is but with the guidance and gentle encouragement from the teachers I can see myself excelling. I was definitely a skeptic at first, almost giggling at the breathing techniques, that surprisingly DO relax and invigorate. I can say now anyone hesitant to start a new exercise routine or just start a new way of living, give [it] a chance." -Angela N.
